Mr. Tim Burton is one of my greatest inspirations. Some of my favorite movies include Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, and the Corpse Bride. Long story short, he's never let me down.

This Christmas I am going home to Mackenzie! I really miss my family and friends..except by the time i get back it will be -30 degrees which I'm not excited for. I custom made all my Christmas cards for family and some friends on photoshop - I love them. Tomorrow I am going to a Christmas fair with my aunt to look around and maybe buy some presents. Since I'm a broke ass with no money Im going to make my mom, aunt, and grandparents homemade coupons for back rubs or something..That's probably better than anything I could buy them anyways :)

Discovery

For my discovery project, I can basically do ANYTHING I want..
which makes it so much harder because there's so much to choose from!
I think I am either going to make an attempt to try and teach myself maya, and model something sweet like a dinosaur or a treehouse, or make a classical animation because I'm really starting to like doing those.
I'm still stuck in an idea for the animation one though.. maybe a little girl playing in the leaves?
We'll see..

Freaky 13

In Foundation Writing term 3, we have to come up with a 13-shot horror movie. We did a "beat sheet" to help us come up with the key points in the short. Here is mine:

1.       Family comes home from grandmothers funeral

2.       Family inherits creepy porcelain dolls

3.       Dolls peek out of box

4.       Sophia exclaims that she wants the dolls out of the house (she hates dolls)

5.       Sophia gives the box to a thrift store

6.       The box reappears under her bed

7.       A doll bites Sophia’s hand

8.       Sophia buries box

9.       Box reappears by the stairs

10.   Sophia lights the dolls in the box on fire

11.   Laughter comes from the box

12.   Dolls kill Sophia

13.   Sophia doll appears in the box
